Hello!


My name is Leann Starkey and I am the owner and Photographer at Light of My Life Photography. While photography is my first love, I am also a Graduate of Marshall CTC with my degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I am mother to four beautiful children, three boys and 1 girl, ages 3-14 years old. I work diligently to balance these three roles as they all are an important part of my life.


Since a young age, I have always been drawn to the beauty of photography, documenting the important moments, the ones to be cherished forever.


My sessions consist of posed portrait style and lifestyle candid moments with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. No need to stress about posing or where to stand. I handle all of that for you!


Everyone needs photographs to reflect on their life, their moments in time that can never be replaced. I am here to share and capture these rare moments between a family, a couple, or from children. This allows you to treasure them for years to come. Let's capture the sweet, the silly, the beautiful, the tough, the real, and the special parts of your life. Oh MY gosh! LeAnn was able to get such BEAUTIFUL Easter pictures of my son Gunner! I wasn't expecting to get many, but I ended up buying the WHOLE album!! We will DEFINITELY be using her again! Thank you so much for being so good with him!!!

Leann was professional and personable. My 19 month old daughter did not cooperate and Leann was able to connect with her to get some shots and suggested a time out with me consoling her and she took some pictures of us during that time that turned out to be my absolute favorites. She was also able to connect with my 7 year old son and got some good shots of him as well. I would definitely recommend Light of My Life Photography and plan on having Mommy and Me and Summer shoots with her this summer!

Leann was fantastic. We went to her to get family pictures done for Christmas. This was our first time using her and we will be back! She is so patient and calming. She is amazing with kids. My daughter and I did minis with Leann and let me say she is fantastic! She was understanding and accommodating after I was late and went to wrong location. My daughter is a toddler and is difficult to take pictures with. Leann did an amazing job helping direct my daughter and keep her focus. Our pictures are breath taking.
